Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Although I have been forced to evacuate my home in light of the most recent dam breaks, I wanted to inform you that President Obama has signed a disaster declaration, ordering federal aid to help recovery efforts in South Carolina, including Richland County. Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the flooding. You may register for relief at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
